Second Harvest Heartland - A regional food bank for Minnesota and Wisconsin, that sources and distributes food to 423 local food shelves and pantries
Union Gospel Mission - An organization providing resources including food, shelter, job training, and counseling to those suffering from homelessness, hunger and addiction in the Twin Cities area.
Emma Norton - An organization providing resources including housing to those experiencing homelessness, especially women and families.
Valley Outreach, Saint Croix Valley - A nonprofit that provides food, clothing, and other assistance to those in need in the St. Croix Valley/Stillwater area.
Open Hands Midway - An organization providing resources, including food and personal supplies, to those in need in the St. Paul/Midway area
Open Cupboard - A local food shelf in Oakdale MN.
Star House Crisis Nursery - An organization that provides childcare to families in crisis.
Grace Place - A emergency housing shelter in the St. Croix River Valley.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. - Matthew 25:35-36
St. Peter accepts donations of gently used clean clothing year-round, to be donated to those in need. Clothes can be dropped off in the baskets in our coat hanging area.
We host an annual Rummage Sale to raise funds for two local charities. Our Rummage sale will be held from June 10th-13th. Our beneficiaries for 2025 are: Halos of the St. Croix Valley (provides peer support to parents who have lost a child) and Second Chances Thrift Store (provides services to victims of domestic violence).
We will begin accepting items for donation in early June. Please check back for a list of items we can and cannot accept, and donation days closer to the sale!
St. Peter's Congregation votes on 6 charitable endeavors to raise funds for each year. For 2025 the following causes were selected:

Scouts BSA Troop 7071 was established in 2019 when Boy Scouts of America opened it's doors for adventure to girls. We have a rich history of helping girls find success in scouting, a robust troop of almost 30 girls and a strong leadership team.
St. Peter is the charter organization for Troop 7071, and we host their meetings each Monday at 7pm in our Parish Hall, as well as their annual Pancake Fundraiser! Please contact the troop directly if you are interested in joining.
